Brooke Wyeth returns home to Palm Springs after a six-year absence to celebrate Christmas with her parents, her brother, and her aunt. Brooke announces that she is about to publish a memoir dredging up a pivotal and tragic event in the family's history—a wound they don't want reopened. In effect, she draws a line in the sand and dares them all to cross it.

MEET THE DIRECTOR:
Michael graduated in 1978 from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a degree in music but has been equally active in theater since his high school days in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. True Packers fans, Mike and his wife Janet moved their family to Green Bay in 1986.
Mike has split his theater time between acting and directing. Most of the acting has been as a member of St. Norbert College's summer music theatre and Green Bay's Evergreen Theatre. Favorite roles include Mssr. Firmin (Phantom of the Opera), Annas (Jesus Christ Superstar), Ira Drew (It's Only a Play) and Cmdr. Walter Stone (A Few Good Men).
Directing is his real passion - including being the director of a 75-member adult community band (Allouez Village Band) since 2001. Theatrical directing responsibilities have been split between Green Bay's Calvary Players and Evergreen Theatre. Favorite directing duties: The Wizard of Oz, Annie, Godspell (Calvary Players) and last season's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Evergreen Theatre).
Mike's wife, Janet, is an active costume designer - having done costumes for many of Mike's shows as well as for Birder Players (DePere). They currently reside in DePere, Wisconsin with their two cats - Jasmine and Rosemary.
